Venue School of Punjabi Studies, Punjabi University, Chandigarh. The mega event was organised by the school of studies at Punjabi University and inaugurated jointly by Surjit Patar and Dean, college development council of the university. The conference well attended and was a grand success. The prominent scholars of linguistics and folklore chaired twelve sessions and specialised fields of the theme of conference. Total fifty six papers were presented by scholars fallowed by healthy discussion. The conference was inaugurated by Professor Bura Singh Ghuman, the worthy vice Chancellor of the university. The theme paper of conference was presented by Prof. LD, God of Punjab University Chandigarh. The total paper presented in twelve sessions was fifty three. The salient feature of the conferences was prescreened by the experts committee. The healthy discussion on papers was a grand success of the conference.
