Eminent social scientists in various fields, will be elected Fellows to recognize their research contributions. Besides, one fellow per year may e elected in recognition of one’s contributions to the development and promotion of Punjabi in Punjab.

Nomination with bio data, made by the Life Members of the PLA followed by recommendation of one existing fellow, will be considered by the executive council, for electing Fellow/s. However, the fellows elected in the first lot will not be governed by this clause.
